In August 2021, I set out to create my own Wedding Invitation using the Canva App. I eagerly forwarded it to my coordinator, hoping the layout would perfectly match our rustic motif with shades of navy blue and gray.
To my delight, he loved it and even dubbed me his "Layout Artist" in the making. My heart fluttered with pride, and overnight, a realization dawned upon me: I had the potential to turn this passion into a thriving business.
The very next day, I mustered the courage to share some sample layouts. To my surprise and gratitude, a wonderful couple booked my services without hesitation, despite the presence of other talented Layout Artists in the industry.
My first year was a rollercoaster ride, filled with ups and downs. But amidst the challenges, I discovered a support system that became my pillars of strength: my family, friends, coordinators, and clients-turned-friends. Their unwavering belief in my creativity propelled me forward. I'm also grateful to God, who blessed me with this innate talent, my greatest weapon in seizing this incredible opportunity. And of course, a special thanks to my loving husband, whose unwavering support has been my rock.
